Letâs show the world that St. Maarten is Open and ready to welcome our guests!
Sadly, with the recent visit by cruise officials and their initial findings has caused them to further delay the return of Carnival and Royal Caribbean ships until December or January. We can unite and work together to ensure popular spots are adopted and cleaned and are truly ready for visitors. The beaches, while being groomed, are still full of dangerous glass, nails, and zinc pieces which could cause serious injuries. The boardwalk and the route from the cruise ships to Philipsburg should be focused on and cleaned up as well. Mullet Bay, Maho (Airport) Beach are two other popular areas we can bring back to their former glory with a little help from you!
We are calling all Service Clubs, volunteers, Merchants, Philipsburg Workers, Organizations, and basically anyone interested in seeing a better St. Maarten to unite and help get our Island back to the premier cruise destination of the Caribbean. Saturday, November 4th from 6am until…..we will make this happen.
Please like, share, phone a friend, get involved. We need to unite and simply get this done. Our beautiful island depends on tourists and we need to show them that St. Maarten is worth coming to and indeed is open and ready to safely welcome them.
